SURPRISE SPORTS CLUB
SURPRISE SPORTS CLUB, a small fete match team established since 1972 and based in Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago, is a sports club known to be involved in two arenas of sports, cricket and mainly football. They are a group of men who for the love of the game love experiencing them not only locally but also regionally. They have participated in regional tournaments on a much smaller scale in places like Guyana, Suriname, Curacao, Margarita, St. Vincent, Grenada and St. Lucia.
They are proud of their core members, some of whom have been around since the club’s inception namely Roger Dyer, Jimmy Arthur, Steve Khan, Alan Sylvester and Derwin Khan and they are proud that have remained with the Club because they form an important part of the Club structure and support system. The love of football is what draws this team together irrespective of age and background, forming a bond that has grown from acquaintance to brotherhood; all who understand and respect each other and the game of football.
Surprise Sports Club are proud to state that for the first time we have branched out into a more competitive field of football to be a part of the Saint Lucia International Masters Football Invitational where they hope to be successful and stay motivated to partake in similar future tournaments.
Saint Lucia and Veterans In Sports, Inc. welcomes Mr. Shayne Chang, Team Captain and Manager and his Surprise Sports Club teammates to this tournament.
